FILM CREW
Director & Writer - Cartter Evans
Cartter is a director, actor, writer and modern-day Priestess making her directorial debut with WAKE. She directed, wrote and stars in the short film. When Cartter set out to write WAKE, her creative process was driven by merging her intuitive practices as a Priestess and the visual medium that she’s worked in for the past decade. Prior to WAKE, she produced RUNAWAY, which premiered at the Palm Springs ShortFest, and her resume includes work in short films, TV and music videos. She is based in Los Angeles, California and New Mexico, where she is currently writing a feature film trilogy, which she plans to direct in 2022.
Her budding production company, Lady Cartier, intends to create & collaborate in film, television, and commercials, and consult in areas involving Unique Vision, Nature, Beauty, Art, Living in Balance, Luxury, and Outer Space.
Cinematographer - Van Nessa Manlunas
Van Nessa Manlunas graduated with an Associates Degree in Video Production from The Art Institute of California, Los Angeles and received Best Cinematographer in her graduating class. She has since gone on to work on narrative films LAY IT ON ME, COWBOYS GIRL, KING OF NORWAY, RUNAWAY, and WAKE.
